Highlights of Terenia Taras PR 1st Business Birthday
It’s been an incredible first year in business and we couldn’t have wished for a better start. Not only did we double the accounts in the first year, much more importantly, we achieved some great success stories for our clients, including award wins, national media coverage, TV and radio exposure and organised some really fun, high-profile events.
For National Curry Week we created an online competition #chillichallenge where people had to video themselves eating a hot chilli and post the video on YouTube. The person’s video with the most likes won an Ipad mini.
We also organised a chilli-eating competition in the restaurant, which brought in a huge crowd as it was the first chilli-eating competition in the area. The PR strategy created a lot of media coverage, prior to, and following the event.
We distributed a press release offering expert advice during Tinnitus Awareness Week. This resulted in 21 pieces of regional and local coverage for all 34 practices in the South of England and one of Leightons audiologists was invited on a couple of radio stations to discuss the topic. Following this PR activity, there was an increase in appointment bookings.
