Oral hygiene experts, Beverly Hills Formula, teamed up with Paramount Pictures for the launch of the new Baywatch Film staring Zac Efron and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
This six-month PR initiative helped raise brand awareness and increase sales of special promotional packs which offered consumers an opportunity to win an exclusive trip to Miami for two people courtesy of Paramount Pictures.
As well as promotional packs and in-store promotions within 780 Superdrug stores throughout the UK. Beverly Hills Formula invested in a separate commercial to help promote the film and the call to action drove thousands of viewers to Beverlyhillsformula.com to be able to enter the competition.
We also included the competition in national newspapers and magazines including OK, New, S Magazine, Express and Sunday Express etc… Press releases generated even more media coverage online and offline.
On social media we were able to increase figures by nearly 2,000 followers with regular sneak peak film trailers, exclusive Baywatch goody bag giveaways and general engagement about the film.
Overall the campaign was hard work over six months but extremely beneficial and is definitely a great way to elevate your brand status by attaching your company to the hype surrounding high budget Hollywood films.
Also, following this campaign, Beverly Hills Formula were approached by a US company about marketing the brand in the States and another company representing 20th Century Fox to potentially become brand partner for another Hollywood film planned for 2018. We are currently in negotiation, so watch this space!
